actual places that The Simpsons have visited
We want to compile a list of real, as opposed to fictional, places that The Simpsons have visited (though not in real life, of course, if you catch our drift) or that have had an episode devoted to. After a lot of head scratching we've managed to come up with the following.
Africa (yes we know it's a continent; we are employing a sort of Sarah Palin-esque type logic here)
Aruba (Homer, Marge and Moe. Mayor Quimby has also been a visitor - off camera.)
Australia
Brazil (twice)
Canada (at least twice, possibly more)
China
Cuba
England (mostly London)
France (Bart goes on a student exchange - possibly the first venture overseas)
Iceland
India
Ireland
Israel
Italy
Japan
Scotland (Loch Ness to be precise)
USA (ok, that was an easy one)
Alaska (in The Simpsons Movie, remember?)
Delaware
Knoxville, Tennessee (Bart, Milhouse, Nelson and Martin)
Florida
Los Angeles (they went to Hollywood with Mel Gibson)
New York
That's what we have come up with so far. If you know of any others (it could be countries, cities, towns - we don't mind as long as they are real places) please tell let us know. Leave a comment in the Visitor's Gallery area or e-mail your suggestions to us.
